Africa on Columbia Access Television

Columbia Access Television is an independent public access television with aims of educating and empowering the community. As part of its educational efforts, Africa Talks, a talk show was created by Salem Solomon, who also served on the board of directors until June 2011. The show offered in-depth interviews and highlighted issues affecting the continent of Africa and Africans in the diaspora.

The interview below was one of the first interviews conducted in CAT’s studios. It was a discussion with Pamela Mulumby and Sylvester Oluochco, founder, publisher and co-publisher of East Africa in Focus, an online publication which promotes citizen journalism based in Columbia Mo.
